绿色的犯罪学 and 哥斯达黎加的生态旅游
This study 在国外 program will combine two Summer courses, SOC/SUST 320: 绿色的犯罪学 and SOC/SUST 400: 哥斯达黎加的生态旅游. The two summer courses will be offered separately and asynchronously as online courses. Students will have the option to either take one 或者两者都有 online only, or take one 或者两者都有 and study 在国外. Students electing to study 在国外 will travel as a group with the faculty 从6月2日到13日. Only students electing to study 在国外 will fulfill their Experiential 学习的要求.
On-site in Costa Rica, students will have the unique opportunity to bring classroom concepts to life as they immerse in Costa Rican culture. The group will travel between San Jose, Monteverde, and Jaco Beach over the course of 10 days.

- Students must have their JU tuition deposit submitted before applying for this program.

$4,225 - $4,795* + airfare (subject to change, based on number of travelers)
*This price range is determined based on enrollment. The final on-site program cost will be determined after the application and deposit deadline has passed. 350美元的 deposit is deducted from the total on-site program cost.
Once enrollment is confirmed, the on-site program cost will be added to each student's 桔多琪帐户.
Students electing to study 在国外 will only pay the study 在国外 cost, which is inclusive 学费.
Students studying 在国外 will pay the same program cost whether they enroll in one

Students not studying 在国外 will pay regular JU Summer tuition ($855/per credit 截至24年夏季的每小时).

No pre-requisites, open to all majors/minors.
课程s fulfill Sociology major/minor elective, SGEP major/minor elective, or Criminal 司法辅修选修.
